Financial Aid and Health Insurance

UH Dietetic Interns are not considered students at UH and therefore are not eligible to receive student financial aid. Student loans may be deferred for the duration of the internship.

Health insurance is required for UH interns. Although not available through the university, there are temporary private insurance options. One such option available to UH employees can be found at https://www.temporaryinsurance.com/
