Food service/Management rotations

 

Food service and Management rotations will comprise four weeks of the internship experience. Interns may choose from a wide variety of experiences. Hospital food service can be experienced at Texas Children’s Hospital or Memorial Hermann. Each site is a unique experience based on the philosophy and populations served.

 

Many interns have interest in the areas of business and management. Rotations allow interns the opportunity to see the world of dietitian consulting including work in Long Term Care/Assisted living facilities and menu planning and development. Sysco Foods corporate headquarters gives interns a first-hand look at dietitians in a corporate setting. Interns work on product development and marketing and develop a business plan of their choosing.
